How iPix360 collects, uses and protects your information when you visit our website, book a photo booth, or hear from us.
Who We Are
iPix360 (“iPix360,” “we,” “us”) rents photo booths — the 360 Video Booth, the Open-Air Photo Booth and the Social Booth — for weddings, quinceañeras, corporate events, birthdays and other celebrations across Southern California. We’re based in the San Fernando Valley.
This policy explains what information we collect when you visit ipix360.com, book with us online, sign your rental agreement, pay, or hear from us by email or text, and what we do with it. Your event itself is covered by the Photo Booth Rental Agreement you sign when you book.
Information We Collect
When you book or ask about a date. Our booking page asks for your name, mobile phone number and email address; your event’s type, date, start time and length; the booth and add-ons you choose; your venue’s name and address; and anything you tell us in the notes. If a date can’t be booked online and you send us your details instead, we collect the same information.
When you sign your rental agreement. We keep the signed agreement together with a record of the signature: the name you typed, the date and time you signed, the IP address you signed from, and a verification code that shows the agreement hasn’t changed since.
When you pay. Deposits and balances paid online are processed by Stripe. Your card or bank details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. We receive a record of the payment, such as the amount, the date and whether it succeeded.
While we plan your event. Your answers to our planning form (for example your timeline, overlay wording and the contact person on the day), and the emails, texts, calls and voicemails you send us.
When you send us a message. The contact form on our Book Now page asks for your name, email address, your phone number if you choose to give it, and your message.
At your event. Our booths take photos and videos of you and your guests. When a guest uses the booth’s sharing option, they can enter a phone number or email address to receive their photos or videos. We use those details only to send the guest their photos and videos; we don’t add them to our mailing or texting lists.
When you visit our website. ipix360.com doesn’t use advertising cookies or analytics trackers. Like any website, the services that host our pages receive basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, and our booking page uses it to guard against spam and fraud (for example, to limit repeated submissions). Stripe’s checkout page uses its own cookies to prevent payment fraud.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- check availability, show your price and reserve your date;
- prepare your rental agreement, invoices and receipts, and take your payments;
- plan and run your event, and coordinate with you and your venue on the day;
- send you emails about your booking — confirmations, your signed agreement, invoices, receipts and reminders — and, after your event, a thank-you that may ask for a review;
- send you text messages about your booking, and a review request after your event, if you’ve agreed to receive them (see “Text Messages” below);
- answer your questions and requests;
- deliver your photos, videos and gallery;
- show our work, using event photos and videos as your rental agreement allows (see “Photos and Videos From Your Event”);
- keep the records we need for accounting, taxes and legal obligations, and protect against fraud and misuse.
Text Messages
You can choose to get text messages from iPix360 by checking the box on our booking page or on the contact form on our Book Now page. Each box is unchecked by default, and you don’t need to check it to book or to send us a message. The booking page’s box says:
By checking this box, you agree to receive text messages from iPix360 about your booking, contract, payments, reminders and event coordination, and a request for a review after your event, at the mobile number provided. The box is unchecked by default and is not required to book. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.
The contact form’s box says:
By checking this box, I agree to receive text messages from iPix360 Photo Booth at the phone number provided, including replies to my inquiry and updates about my booking and event. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. View our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.
If you opt in, we’ll text you about your booking, your contract, your payments, reminders, and coordination for your event, send one request for a review after your event, and reply to the questions you send us. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts — we’ll send one message confirming you’ve been unsubscribed — or HELP for help. You can also reach us at [phone protected] or [email protected]. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not share your mobile phone number or text messaging opt-in with anyone for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. Your number is used only by us, and by the service providers that deliver our messages, to send you the texts described here.
Photos and Videos From Your Event
The photos, videos and prints from your event are yours and your guests’ to enjoy. Under your rental agreement, you also give us permission to use photos and videos from your event — including images of guests, decor and our setup — to promote iPix360 on our website, social media, advertising and portfolios.
- You can opt out of this entirely by telling us in writing at least 7 days before your event.
- If a guest asks us not to use their image, we won’t include them in promotional material.
- We don’t sell or license your photos to anyone else for their advertising.
- If you’d like a photo of you taken down from our website or social media, email us and we’ll remove it.
Because the booth photographs guests, the rental agreement asks the person booking to let their guests know that photos and videos will be taken.
How Long We Keep Information
We keep booking records, signed agreements and payment records for as long as we need them to provide our services and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. We keep event photos and videos for as long as we offer them to you and, where your agreement allows, use them to show our work. When we no longer need information, we delete it or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you.
Your Choices and Rights
- Texts: reply STOP at any time.
- Emails: any marketing email we send has an unsubscribe link. You’ll still receive the emails about a booking you’ve made, such as your agreement, invoices and reminders.
- Access, correction and deletion: you can ask us for a copy of the personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We’ll do so unless we need to keep something — for example a signed agreement or a payment record — for legal or accounting reasons, and we’ll tell you if that’s the case.
- California residents: you can make the requests above whenever you like, and we won’t treat you differently for making them. We don’t sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
To make a request, email [email protected] or call [phone protected]. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on it.
Children’s Privacy
Our website and booking page are for adults planning an event; you must be 18 or older to book. We don’t knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. Children may appear in photos taken at events we serve, which the rental agreement covers. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Security
We protect your information with reasonable safeguards. Our website and booking pages use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access to customer records is limited to the people who need it, and card payments are handled by Stripe, which is certified to the payment industry’s security standard. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Other Websites
Our site links to other websites, such as our social media pages and California Music Group. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
Changes to This Policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use information from customers with an upcoming event, we’ll let them know by email.
